Where is the office located?
The office is located on Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, CT 06830. In-person sessions are available at this location. Telehealth sessions are offered for clients residing within Connecticut, providing flexibility for those who prefer to meet remotely.
What is EMDR by Design?
EMDR by Design is a trademark owned by Integrative Psychotherapy LLC, a private practice dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based trauma therapy through both traditional EMDR and integrative EMDR.
Do you offer a free introductory call?
While brief phone consultations are available to answer general questions, the intake session is truly the best way to get a genuine sense of fit. It allows us to meet in depth, explore your history and goals, and assess whether EMDR therapy is the right path forward. In my experience, the intake provides a level of clarity and connection that a short call simply cannot replicate. Prospective clients are warmly encouraged to take that step — scheduling an intake is an act of commitment to your own healing, and it is the most meaningful place to begin.
Do you accept insurance?
Billing is handled through Integrative Psychotherapy LLC, which is recognized by most major insurance providers as an out-of-network mental health practice. The practice does not bill insurance companies directly. After each session, clients receive a detailed itemized bill (superbill) that can be submitted to their insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurer in advance to confirm your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Is the practice currently accepting new clients?
Because the practice is currently busy, new intakes are limited to ensure continued availability and quality of care for existing patients and their families. Talia will typically respond the same day. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
