About the practice
A space where healing is possible through EMDR care that honors your story.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDRIA-trained EMDR clinician on Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, CT, offering therapy in person and via Telehealth.
Meet Your Therapist: Talia
MA, MEd, LPC, Certified Trauma Therapist and EMDR Clinician
"I became a therapist because I believe deeply in the resilience of the human spirit — and in the power of feeling truly seen and heard."
My path to EMDR therapy was shaped by years of working with individuals navigating some of life's most difficult moments — trauma, loss, anxiety, relational discord, and the quiet weight of experiences that never quite got processed. I saw firsthand how traditional talk therapy, while valuable, sometimes couldn't reach the places where pain lived most deeply.
EMDR changed that for the clients I work with. It is a gentle, evidence-based approach that works with the brain’s natural capacity for healing, helping difficult memories lose their emotional grip so you can move forward with greater ease, clarity, and freedom.
My approach
Healing that meets you where you are.
Every person who walks through my door carries a unique story. My role isn't to fix you — it's to walk alongside you as you find your own way back to yourself.
Sessions are collaborative, unhurried, and deeply attuned to what you need in any given moment. Some days that means active EMDR processing. Other days it means simply being present with what's arising.
When beneficial, I integrate EMDR with somatic awareness, mindfulness, and attachment-based approaches — drawing on whatever best supports your healing at each stage of the journey.
EMDR can take many forms
While some clients benefit from traditional EMDR, others respond better to a more integrative EMDR-based approach that incorporates additional modalities such as somatic psychotherapy, parts and ego-state work, core-self, attachment-focused and relational therapy, core self work, relational psychotherapy, relational life therapy, and AEDP.
My practice
My practice is grounded in warmth, patience, and deep respect for each person's unique journey. I don't believe in rushing healing. I believe in creating the conditions where it can unfold naturally — at your pace, in your time.
